Rey Mysterio, regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, joined the ECW in 1995 and debuted at Gangstas Paradise, defeating Psicosis. He quickly moved up to the WCW in June of 1996 and made his debut at The Great American Bash by challenging Dean Malenko for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.

In 2002, Mysterio joined the WWE and the rest is history; he is a three-time Cruiserweight Championship winner, two-time World Heavyweight Championship winner, two-time Intercontinental Championship winner, two-time United States Championship winner, four-time Tag Team Championship winner, and WWE Championship winner. Rey Mysterio has also won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship with his son Dominik.
